Terms of Service

Last updated: March 29, 2026

Welcome to AIKA. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before continuing.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you are legally able to agree to these terms for yourself and for the child learner you manage on the platform.

2. Parent or Guardian Responsibility

AIKA is designed for parent-guided learning. You are responsible for supervising the child's use of the platform, reviewing worksheet content, and ensuring that uploaded work is appropriate and lawful to share.

3. Educational Use

The worksheets, feedback, and recommendations generated inside AIKA are provided for educational support only. They are intended to help practice and learning progression, and should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, or psychological advice.

4. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share access to your account in a way that could expose learner data or allow unauthorized use of the platform.

5. Service Availability

We aim to keep AIKA available and reliable, but some parts of the experience depend on third-party services such as Supabase and Microsoft Foundry. Features may occasionally be unavailable, delayed, or updated without prior notice.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information AIKA stores, why it is used, and how it supports the learner experience.

1. Information We Collect

We collect account details such as parent full name, email address, learner profile details, worksheet content, uploaded answer images, and AI-generated review data that supports progress tracking and worksheet history.

2. How We Use Data

We use this information to authenticate your account, generate worksheets, review uploaded answers, store learner progress, and improve the continuity of the educational experience across sessions.

3. Third-Party Processors

AIKA relies on infrastructure and AI services including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage, and Microsoft Foundry for worksheet generation and review. Data sent to these services is limited to what is necessary for the feature to work.

4. Data Retention

Learner profiles, worksheet records, and uploaded answer images are retained while your account is active unless you request deletion or the data is removed as part of normal account cleanup or service administration.

5. Your Choices

You can stop using the service at any time, and you may contact the service owner to request account removal or data deletion subject to operational, legal, and safeguarding obligations.

Data Usage

Last updated: March 29, 2026

This section summarises how worksheet and learner data moves through the product so families understand what is stored and why.

1. Worksheet Generation

When a new worksheet is requested, AIKA sends the selected learner's age band, current level, and related learning context to Microsoft Foundry using the configured server-to-server prompt templates.

2. Answer Review Uploads

When you upload a completed worksheet image, the file is processed for marking, the review JSON is stored on the worksheet record, and the image is uploaded to the dedicated Supabase Storage bucket for future reference.

3. Progress Tracking

Worksheet results, scores, and structured answer review data may be used to support learner progress history, identify weak areas, and inform future worksheet generation or placement decisions.

4. Access Control

Worksheet and profile records are scoped to the authenticated account through Supabase row-level security. This helps ensure each family can only access their own learner data.
